Afternoon Tea

3pm Tuesdays and Sundays in December

The Waterhouse brings a classic tradition to the Monadnock Region

Afternoon tea became a popular tradition after Anna Duchess of Bedford invited Queen Victoria to participate in her afternoon ritual of tea and finger sandwiches every afternoon.  By the 1880s it was an established part of British culture.

Today, afternoon tea is associated with marking a social occasion and time with friends and family.  The Waterhouse version of afternoon tea combines the traditional menu with the casual fine dining experience our guests have come to expect and appreciate.
